Our Story

One Global Vision. FairThread Global began with a shared belief: the people who make our clothes deserve to be valued for their work. Founded by five friends whose lives and perspectives span Bangladesh, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States, we bring together international insight and local manufacturing expertise to build more responsible apparel partnerships. We connect buyers with smaller manufacturers who prioritize fair wages, ethical working conditions, and opportunities for women and underrepresented communities. By helping suppliers reach international markets, we aim to create sustainable relationships and expand opportunities for the people behind every garment. Together, we are building a business where global trade supports commercial growth and human dignity.

In Bangladesh’s apparel sector, manufacturing is more than industry—it is the backbone of millions of households. FairThread Global’s purpose is to ensure this backbone is built on dignity, not just production.

• Fair Pay: Supplier commitments to progress toward living wages are assessed as part of our vetting process.

• Leadership: Creating pathways for women to move from floor-level work into management and ownership roles.

• Opportunity: Enabling smaller, high-compliance suppliers to overcome barriers to international buyer markets.
